Guide to Sao Paulo Guarulhos Airport (GRU / SBGR)
Updated Thursday 21st May, 2009
Sao Paulo Guarulhos is the largest airport in South America and receives flights from more than 40 airlines from all continents, the latest operator being El Al of Israel (May 2009).
In 2008 the airport handled almost 20 million passengers and 430,000 tonnes of cargo, resulting in over 200,000 take-offs and landings.
The airport is a spotter friendly airport and the authorities do not attempt to prevent the hobby. The weather is generally good, with January to April being rainy season and May to December being sunnier. The spotter points are good in both summer and winter.
While all points are safe, extra care needs to be taken at Morrinho (spot C) and I will advice everyone to visit in a group rather than on your own.

Is the baggage claim area for these two "wings" in the same location?
Thanks in advance
