Photo Spot Spot A - Grassobbio parking

You need a car to get this spotting point from airport. You can see the planes taxiing to runway 28 for takeoff and you are roughly in line with the touch down point. With a DSLR not full frame (like nikon D7000), a 70-200mm is ok for most situation. You need a little ladder to look over the fence.

Sat Nav Co-ordinates
(Some locations may not be next to a road but the sat nav should get you pretty close using these co-ordinates)

Photo Spot Spot B - Aerostation parking

You can reach this spotting point by foot from the airport with a 10-minutes walk.
You can see many remote parking of the airport, and the planes exiting the runway through E or D taxiway, but you need a 200mm lens. Some planes use 10 runway for takeoff, so you can see them taxiing and starting the takeoff run.
Very rarely runway 10 is used for landings, but if it happens you are aligned with the touchdown zone. This is a 2 floor park, no need of a ladder.

Visited 14 Sep, on foot so walked to parking lot (spot 2) in less than 10 mins from arrivals. Ideal spot for photography with sun behind. Engine blast screen sometimes gets in the bottom of your image but there are gaps. You can see everything that moves although light aircraft on the far runway are too far away. You can see across to the Hangars on the North west corner, 4 F27 parked up, others awaiting maint, difficult to see reg thro' heat haze. I was there from 10am to 3pm and not troubled by police/security.
