Guide to Newcastle Airport
It is one of the fastest growing regional airports, and in 2007 it gained its first scheduled long-haul flight, a daily Emirates service to Dubai.
The Airport has had a long battle on it's hands, the main one being gaining a flight to New York. American Airlines originally announced the route but pulled out due to high fuel prices.
The second is with former manager John Parkin, who recieved a £6 million bonus before leaving to join Leeds Bradford Airport, since then, the airport has tried to get the bonus off him.

Follow it until you reach the approach lights, there, you should see a wooden gate, go throught it and there will be a small hill with a rusty petal gate resting against barbed wire, stand there and get your camera ready for some great shots.

EGNT is not the best for viewing aircraft on the ground, security are very much anti-spotter. Only locations valid on this page are at the end of both runways. If anyone parks on the frieght village road, they will be moved on. Just a word of warning guys.
