| 'Sierra Romeo Golf 125' departing runway 05 at Wattisham and turning for central London. This aircraft would shortly be seen by billions on the television making a flypast over Buckingham Palace, The Mall and the Royal newlyweds. Despite most national media indicating that the aircraft came from the Duke's own SAR flight at RAF Valley, it was a Wattisham machine flown by a Wattisham crew. | ||

| Morning ma'am! Flt Lt Helen Seymour, the RAF's first, and so far only female Typhoon driver with a wave to the camera as she leads out a flight from 11 Sqn on a cold, clear November morning. Both her and this jet flew on Operation Ellamy, the UK's contribution to the NATO operation over Libya. | ||
