| The surviving member of the mid air collision with P-51 Mustang 'Beautiful Doll'. The two aircraft swapped more than paint. A large chunk of wingtip was lost as the two broke formation to land. The pilot of the Mustang did well to escape as did the Skyraider pilot who recovered his aircraft and managed to bring in to land on the grass strip at Duxford. | ||

| A sad end to 'Beautiful Doll'. This Mustang collided with Douglas A-1D Skyraider F-AZDP towards the end of their formation display as they were peeling off for the downwind leg. The Skyraider suffered loss of part of its wing and the Mustang crashed into an adjacent field second after the pilot bailed. | ||

| Inside the the Vulcan B2 cockpit at Newark Air Museum. There's not much more room than you'd find in a Jet Provost. An incredible machine, unbelievably conceived and designed in the 1940's. It has that distinctive vintage 'analogue' smell. | ||
