Plane Mad Feeds

We have recently introduced RSS feeds onto our website. RSS feeds allow a simple way of viewing certain sections of the website through a specified reader such as Google Reader. You can add many subscriptions from many different websites to a reader and the reader will check for updates to those subscriptions without you having to visit each and every website to check manually.
Feeds can also be used to collect information for display on your own website, see below for more information.

Currently our forum topics, photo gallery and weather are included in the feeds section, with more of our sections available soon.

Using the feeds

The feeds from this website can be used to display information on your own website. An RSS file is simply an XML file and so using an XML parser it is possible to retrieve this information and use it to display on your own website. The use of such feeds are subject to the following conditions:

• Plane Mad feeds may only be used on personnal websites, websites promoting a company or product may be able to use the feeds subject to an agreement with myself which may include a fee to be charged. Contact me for details.
• Plane Mad feeds may not be used on commercial websites ie websites which charge users for access to the feeds.
• The Plane Mad feeds must be displayed on your website unaltered from the way in which they are supplied.
• It must be made clear near to where the feeds are displayed that the information is from Plane Mad and must not be passed off as the content of the website in which it is displayed.
• If you would like the information for your website, produced in a different way to that which it is found then please contact me with your request details.
