Whitehatter,i read your article on this forum and yes they are rather good.Another range of 1/400th jets are made by DRAGONWINGS.I only own one at present, but will buy more. Also available are to the same scale,i think,a range made by the German company HERPA.

I don't like the 1:400 Dragonwings models. I have two (Thai A330-300 and Qatar A330-200). There engines seem to be off scale to the rest and they have plastic wings.

I prefer Gemini Jets and Phoenix models (1:400). I have over 70 of these models which I have collected over the past 2 years.

The Herpa 1:400 scale models are also good. I have a Thai A340-600 made by them. Their 1:500 scale models though have plastic tails (except for the A380 models which are metal).

Hi,Red Baron here.(mcpcshowcaseHD)I've not heard of Phoenix, maybe you can let us know the best place to puchase them?

I usually buy my models from http://www.aviationretaildirect.co.uk

Good, quick service and the price isn't bad either.

Phoenix are very similar to Gemini in quality but they offer models that Gemini don't.

If you Google Phoenix Aircraft Models you should be able to find their website, they have dozens of models on there but you can't buy them direct - but it at least gives you an idea of their range.
