chris here i remember the good old days of early jets. and IT 1962-1970 my mothers uncle was the manageing director of clarkson s and they owned court airlines they went bellyup ! then thomson tours came and gobbled up the IT market.

I remember Courtline at LTN.It was great when they got their TriStars.Unfortunately,they went bust not long after then.RB.

the company went down as thomson started to do well ? thats life ! he went on to retirement on some island in the middle of nowhere. I assume he is dead ! cos that was a long time ago. yes you are right red baron it was tristars and BAC 1-11 i remmeber the BAC 1-11 s very much so. the tristars they had another airline took them over . cos i think my brother and his then girlfriend (now divorced) travelled to majorca on one off there ex jets (tristars) but not shure what airline it was.
think it may have been a thompson holiday. then travelled years later with the ex on a B737 of britannia airlines from luton.
