If anyone fancies donating, Arnie Schreder's daughter Yvette is racing in his memory in Yellowknife, Canada. Arnie was a Canadian legend in the Northern Territories and one of the stars of the hugely popular series Ice Pilots.
Arnie lost his fight with cancer recently and the next series to be shown in the UK will cover his retirement from Buffalo and flying their classic props.

A great aviator and a lovely guy by all accounts. Flew everything from Piper Cubs to DC-8s in the desert. There wasn't much Arnie couldn't fly by all accounts.

Yeah, Ice Pilots Virtual has a banner reading. The Last Dambuster 1942-2012. Referring to when he (using a buffalo DC4) dropped a bouncing bomb on a specifically built dam in Canada last year. I have the documentary recorded on video a home
