I know. Is that a normal A340-600 take off? I've never filmed/seen one depart from this angle before. I thought it may do that because of the length?

Wow, that A340 seemed to just 'bounce' up off the runway?!
Thanks for the video. The A340-600 is my favourite aircraft, so nice to see it up at MAN. Also the new livery looks great on the beast, look forward to seeing it down at the 'Row some time.

Looks to me like he was a fair bit past his VR speed when he finally 'rotated' (or floated)

Didn't exactly seem to rocket up did it, like you may have thought it would. Always thought that it looked too long and skinny, but the 345/6 has grown on me quite a lot. Love that 'red' that AL put onto those Virgin birds.
