I am an artist and needing to film a wide bodied heavy take-off, head on, capturing the sound and rush with binaural microphone. I think it will need to be a 4 engined jet as they are generally lower at the end of the runway..
I was hoping someone on this forum could advise me, is manchester the best uk airport, and which runway is best for getting a view directly down the runway
I am new to this and be grateful for any advice

Gatwick because you can look down the runway without any obstructions like a Fence, you get the heavies there too!

You can get head-on views of takeoffs at Manchester, but they'll be rotating a fair way down the runway not right at the end
