BA haven't been at BHX for years. They also don't run a shuttle as it is too close to Heathrow.
If the park and ride facility at Marston Green station is full, park in one of the side roads just down from the petrol station. It's only a 5 minute walk back to the railway station, then cross the bridge and you're in the country park. Turn right and follow the path until you reach a wide open space with some benches. From here you can get great approach and take-off shots all day.
There's also another, equally good, spot at the opposite end of the runway located at the far (south-western) end of Long Stay Car Park 1. From memory, the parking charges are fairly reasonable, i.e. circa. £3.50 per hour. Again, you can get great approach and take-off shots, plus aircraft taxiing to/from the main Terminals are well within range if using a 150-200mm telephoto lens.
The biggest problem with the multi-storey car park (see #10 above) is that you need a large (i.e. 300mm plus) zoom to get any decent shots.
