Hi all, I just wanted to say, 35 years ago this minute in Tenerife the worlds largest air crash took place. The collision was at 17:06.50.00. Here are a few videos with reconstructions etc for anyone who doesn't know.

A terrible day indeed and one that I still remember quite vividly - I was 18 at the time and had just started my first job. Let's hope nothing like that happens again. I don't wish to tempt fate or appear unduly macabre, but can you imagine the devastation and loss of life that would occur if a couple of A380's were to be involved in a similar incident. It just doesn't bear thinking about.
