Hi Guys,
Not posted for a while but still very active.

Just wondered if those of you who use flightradar24 website have had chance to try out the
aircraft view in beta option.

You can pick any aircraft on the world and see its current position on google earth.

What do people think?

Indeed, I've used it a little bit. I think it's a nice little feature. Obviously as it is still in beta it's going to be buggy but it still works quite well considering.

I hope they'll add more aircraft to their database so we can see those instead of the standard 737 that is currently the default happy And maybe they could add liveries to that aircraft too. Not sure how they'd go about that or if it would be possible, but it'd be a nice feature.

I also thought they could do with making their tracking a little smoother as the plane is constantly tilting to line up with the runway when coming into land. Maybe this is something they could look at in the future as it's not a big issue happy

Overall I think it's a pretty nice new feature that can only become better & better as time progresses happy

I tried it but without success! When I clicked the Aircraft View button it showed the aircraft and the terrain for a couple of seconds and it said loading coordintes then a screen appeared saying
'There was a problem with the Google Earth Plug-in. Please try reloading the page.
If that doesn't help, you can re-install the Google Earth Plug-in using this link'

I've re-installed Google Earth Plug-in a couple of times but it still doesn't work. I accept that it is still in Beta but I cannot wait to see an a/c coming down the ILS over where I live.
