If anyone wants to know, OE-IAD is currently parked on stand 19, on the new apron (Jet2 carpark). Still sports the KD Avia livery, will be re-registered to G-GDFA and then scrapped in 2 years.

Also, G-CELE/R now have full Jet2 livery, with red tails

I'm not keen on the Jet2 livery or any livery that is just one big advert. Looks very tacky to me, but that's just me (",)

Probably just takes it up to when a D check is due, after that the one way trip to Kemble or the desert. Plenty of 733s knocking about on the second hand market.

It seems a shame to have it repainted, but i guess there is no point in advertising a defunked airline!!!!!
I wonder how long Jet2 will keep this 757, is it bought or leased!!!!!happy

It was up for sale so I'd think they have bought it. It's not very old either, certainly a lot newer than the rest of their 757 fleet, and was used on ETOPS flights.

Been parked for a while as the bankruptcy of ATA got sorted out. It's currently at Lasham.

Just done a check on the G-INFO database and LSAK has been bought by Jet2 (IOW not leased from anyone) so they intend keeping it, unlike the 737s they recently acquired. G-CGET is on lease too although it's actually a bit newer than the rest of their fleet.
