Quoting lbaspotter, from a previous postAir Contractors, EI-JIV hercules made a over night visit to LBA Last night after positioning in from Palma
In from PMI and back there. That plane must make a fortune over the summer, flying busted CFMs and RB211s about.
LS must have taken some spare CFM56-7 engines with the planes they acquired to have one available so quickly.
The service is due to return to LBA this Saturday from Naples.
Meanwhile it looks as though the spare East Midlands based 757-200 is to position into Leeds later this afternoon as LS41A to operate the LS207/208 Murcia service otherwise them flights to would be delayed 5 hours due to waiting for G-LSAG to return.
It is also worth pointing out that it's the big one a at York races this week. Yep you've guess it it's the Ebor meet. So we may get a few biz and freight movements as well hopefully....
The aircraft is staying at LBA for 3 days and should be operated by Qatar Airways A319LR, A7-MBK. I understand the Qatar Royals will be onboard.
Also this afternoon will see 2x British Airways cityflyer Embrear's visit LBA.

i honestly thought that they would have introduce new routes and based an aircraft at Leeds!! Because they haven't done this, does that mean they don't think there is much room for expansion at LBIA ???
As the following private german registered Airbus A319, D-AHAD is due into Leeds sometime this afternoon, Sunday, January 15th 2012: Her flight code should be DCS620
Touchdown 1228 on the webcam.
Seems JET2 have been busy painting since i was last at LBA.. few jet2 holiday schemes
We have 3 jet2holidays aircraft presently based at LBA.

Also Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAK has positioned out to Norwich this afternoon as EXS032E for a repaint. She is currently in the red and white colours but she is now due to receive the Jet2holidays treatment.
It's currently painted all white. It is expected to get the Jet2holidays treatment sometime at a later date.
They will also take delivery of there next Boeing 737-300, G-GDFK (Ex Astraeus G-STRE) tomorrow evening as well. She is due into Leeds at 19:45 as EXS032E from Bournemouth where she has been painted into Jet2holidays colours.
