I have got to say, Im mightly impressed by LGW's fortunes now they have new owners. Something MAN can hopefull aspire to!
So far this year, new route wise, they have:
Comair to South Africa
Vietnam Airlines to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City
Air Asia X to KUL
Nigeria Airlines to Lagos
Hong Kong airlines to Hong Kong (business service)
Easyjet going from strength to strength
Ryanair operating multiple routes
Lufthansa to operate 2 daily FRA
They may have lost 80% of its American routes, and looked a bit ropey when QR announced their pull out, but, it seems to be on a good run now!

It is good news for Gatwick and about time too. Don't forget Hellenic imperial have now started too! There are also 2 Malaysian744 charters this month and an Air Europa A330 due on 30th July.
