Im in Barcelona unfortunately.

Seems like next week will be B747 week at MAN.

Virgin, Korean, Atlas, Qantas and Cathay Pacific. Been a while since we saw so many B747's at MAN.

Never thought Id see they day the A380 is just a common sight at MAN as the B747......
Quote | Reply | Top of Page
Anyone know why the A380 today did a go around?
Quote | Reply | Top of Page
Early bird departure for tomorrow

Anything private currently in that's interesting?

Hi there,
In response to the A380 go around,i`m pretty sure at the time runway 24r was operating VOR/DME approaches.Maybe a misjudgement ? The aircraft was quite a way down the rwy before it went around.

There is a video of it on youtube. Stu.
Quote | Reply | Top of Page
Defiantly weather related looking at that video!

Never seen an A380 come down so fast either, they always look like they are hovering when you watch them come in.

Seems like the pilot was having a few issues that day!

Great video.

Why does the movements page say it departs next tues 31st, if so why is it coming in a week early?

Not 100% sure but I think it's TR-KPR

Used to be G-ZZZD with BA many moons ago, via Varig and other operators. It was in danger of scrapping but seems to be fully working again as an executive aircraft in Gabon.

I think this is just disgusting. I am a United fan and to hear how the team treat things is an embarrassment. Although it isn't just United, it is all over paid clubs that don't seem to care about what they are doing when really they are representing their club. Personally they are all just a bunch of over paid and massively over hyped athletes.

Apologies for the off topic and rant over.

The rich and famous are notorious for wrecking things, such as interiors of aircraft.

A friend of mine is involved in helicopter charters and not long ago a very well known UK band chartered a Sikorsky for a few gigs around the North West, leather seats were torn and carpets stained along with numerous other things.

Arse holes!
