Manchester Airport Forum | Man movements, March 2017 onwards.
Not that I saw, I was told it was the G&R titles but that may have come from FR24.
Still has landing gear down.
Looks like a possible tec problem??

Now heading for LHR.

G-DAJC B767-300 will leave the flight this December and G-TCCB will leave December 2018
OY-VKG A330-300 with Thomascook UK for the summer will be operating out of Glasgow and Stansted
Presumably a medical emergency.

D-ABVU Lufthansa (LH470) 747-4 just taxiing out after diverting in a few hours ago.
Presumably a medical emergency.
Cheers Spike.
Have read elsewhere it was an unruly passenger.

Thomascook B757-300 G-JMOG will arrive Friday 7th April first flight planned for Saturday

Are the 767's being used for short haul at MAN again this summer then? Also what's the plans for the 757's after the summer? With the two TCX birds being LGW based all summer, and the ex DE ones coming to MAN, what are they going to do to replace the seats offered on those 767's?
2 x B757-300 will fly all year round from Manchester the other three will be based at Gatwick, so that is 5 operating this summer from the UK with D-ABOI joining us in December making 6 total
G-VYGM will be filling the gap for the summer only in place of the B767-300's also the extra capacity on the B757-300's and the Avion Express A321 x2
0720/1400.
Apparently it's going to 'Level', BA's new offshoot.
Air Europa A332 due on 22nd 0700 for paint.

Does anyone know when the Air Canada Rouge flights start, it must be very soon. It has escaped me and I thought I'd ask the question.
I actually thought it would have started early May.
Cheers for any info.

LH8165 7/6 operated by MD11 D-ALCB ETA around 03.00 if it turns up! Sorry for the sketchiness as this type has been anonymous in MAN this year.

CVK7048.
No idea of dep time but only stayed an hour or so on its previous visit.
Apologies I quoted AN72 before.
I've heard a whisper today from a colleague in in T3 who has access to Man arrivals for the week through a friend ahead of a visit by a Morocco air force C130 Hercules next Thursday.
It's purpose is to collect two brand new Bentleys for transportation to Morocco for a privileged customer.
Anyone got any info? If I hear any more I will post again.
Cheers from Jim
They have been arriving 3 or 4 hours late on a semi regular basis. Arriving at around 5am means a very quiet airport but at 8 or 9 am it's very busy, so it obviously has a knock on effect.
I have also noticed that on a few occasions during the summer that Llandudno seems to be on the Chinese tour trail, with school groups and other mixed groups visiting the area. Does anyone know if they come in through MAN?
Despite massive expansion of airport infrastructure in China demand is still outstripping supply. Beijing Capital and Shanghai Pudong airports are now basically full. Throw into the mix summer storms, peak holiday travel season ex China, and an Air Force which likes to regularly commandeer commercial airspace at the drop of a hat for its own use, and you have the perfect recipe for delays.
Having said that airport investment in China continues apace, with another 24 full size runways due to open between now and 2020, taking the total from 220 to 244. That's about the same amount of time the UK needs just to run a public enquiry into a single extra runway

This particular Atlas 747 spends most of its time shuttling oil workers between Houston and Angola twice a week or so. Quite a rare visit to this part of the world !

Thanks for the info.
Of course they do have plenty of space to build on and I doubt local opinion or human rights hold much sway. I cannot see things like that slowing down progress in China.
Also SQ52 A350 this morning is 9V-SMO on its first visit
I estimate it's due roughly around 16.30ish. No detail on FR24.
Shame the weather is dull and drizzly here at MAN.
Yes, nothing at all to be seen from the daughters Saturday school of departures from the car park but did make a trip across one of the fields for a better look and I did manage to see 9V-SMO lifting off.
Now back home I do have somewhere I can get a view of the airport up the road but if it's persisting it down I'll give it a miss.
Fingers crossed it brightens up!
B-7302 B789 Kung Fu Panda colour scheme
Is anybody aware of why the inbound Saudia B789 this morning is holding over the peak district as well as having also hold north of Bolton.
Cheers from Jim
Many thanks for that update, sounds like an interesting landing I presume at Manchester.
Jim

Would anybody know if the Malaysian A380 is still coming in tomorrow please?
Yep, 9M-MNB 0805/1045.
Should be a quick trip back at that rate.
