I'll have a word with the screeners and see if they've got any thoughts on the matter.

Just as a matter of interest, are you using the Adobe RGB colour space, which has a slightly wider colour gamut than sRGB? If so, your browser will encounter some colours that fall outside its sRGB gamut and will render them to a colour that falls within the sRGB colour space. Basically, it picks a colour that it thinks is closest to the one it cannot replicate. In these shots, skies look dark and have an almost purple hue to them, whilst images can look slightly under exposed as well. Your image will look fine in Photoshop, as it is designed to work in many different colour spaces, i.e. the problem only occurs when the pic is viewed in a browser.

no i use the sRGB colour space if colourspace was the problem why are my shots showing correct colour on the other sites i use go to airway photos.net on the home page type in cs-ttr for the reg and do the search the database will show all the submissions for that reg compare the one by james kew to the one rejected on plane mad

I agree that it looks fine on Airway Photos - but I don't have anything to compare it with, as rejected photos are automatically deleted from the P-M database. Any chance that you could re-upload the shot in question so that we can have another look and see if we can get a steer on what might be causing the problem?

Thanks, Jim. I've asked the screeners to have another look and to let me know what they think.
