Site Related Forum | PM crashing firefox?

Anyone else been experience problems with firefox and plane-mad? Firefox keeps seeming to crash when plane-mad is opened.

Been having no end of issues with plane-mad since Saturday evening, and still having issues now.

same here have made numerous attempts to download pics since saturday with very little success keep getting "server backed up message" running safari and camino

Me too on firefox - real nightmare. Just keeps giving me blank white screens - have to keep shutting down and starting again.

Have also been experiencing issues using Opera. I reckon the problem is server-side. I keep often getting page not available or timeouts since Saturday.

Me too. I use Firefox. Couldn't get on Sunday at all, struggling today but better.

Absolute nightmare! Links not working, error messages appearing on a regular basis, numerous timeouts, etc. Seems to make little or no difference which browser I use.

Yeh, big problems all round by the sounds of it - can't even use the back key. If I get in to a thread and then hit the forum key it just goes blank!

I use Google chrome and am experiancing the same issues..... Glad its not just me!

Was mega thanks Steve (and EmmasDad). Bowled over with the 380, fabulous aircraft - felt cheated getting on a 773ER for the 2nd sector after that!! And of course the Maldives was simply stunning.

Just this website struggling, nothing else. Refresh does the trick.

Am pleased to read that its not just me having problems accessing site (via google) Trying to access my own site or others links constantly keeps bringing up blank white pages. Have to keep logging out and relogging in and then only intermittently gaining access.

Not crashing problems with FF but still super slow, in fact probably worse now than before.

Previously it was just the initial site loading that took a long time afterwards was fine. Now all forum pages take ages, I can be loading other sites at the same time and they all load much quicker than the PM ones.

In addition often I just a get a blank page and no point in refreshing as it doesn't point to a valid page. Next time it happens I'll copy the details.

I'm using safari and have been getting white pages for about 6 days now. It was so bad at the weekend that I couldn't get on for ages so I email'd Dan on Sunday evening about it.

can i also add same with me google chrome so annoying now, doesnt stop everytime i come on i have to keep closing down and re-opening to try if it works sometimes take up to 5 times until it comes on then when i try and open a topic on the forum it sometimes goes off again real pain!

Anyone got Dan's email? Sure he'll be able to pick up the email on his phone etc if he hasn't got time to read PM

Sam, as stated previously I sent Dan an email last Sunday but don't think he's read it yet as have had no reply yet.

I think another problem is the number of double postings there have been over the last few days. It doesn't always look like a post has been sent when you press return.

Hi guys, apologies I've been away so long - ended up having an urgent operation in hospital last week and still hear now - just now up to getting the laptop in and having a look into this.

The server load has peaked at about 8% this last week so this is a strange error, although in the 5 mins I've been using the site I've got a few blank screens.

I've just made some changes - let me know if anyone has any issues from now on.

Apologies that I won't get a chance to respond to everyone personally via e-mail but I'll put any updates in one place here.

Dan, your health is more important than this and I'm sure all on here would say the same. Don't worry about it until you feel better, it's not that important. Best wisher.

Actually its been good to have something to do, only problem when you start to feel better in hospital then the boredom sets in. Should now be sorted anyway - I have noticed any problems personally since the changes.
