Gents,

I don't know if it's just me but there seems to be a problem with the site this morning. None of the options appear at the top of the home page except 'Home', I only got on the forum by typing in the URL directly into the browser. Not sure if it's related but also noticed that suddenly images now appear to be off centre and to the right of the screen.

I was going to send a email direct via 'contact us' before getting onto the forum but there seems to be a problem there as well, not sending as it says my email is not recognised, although it is the one I signed up with. Understand if issues already known about but thought I would just mention it incase not.

Sound like a problem on your end rather than plane mad, I would suggest refreshing your internet and changing your web browser until an admin or mod speaks to you.

Hi Gary, I've just logged in to P-M using Internet Explorer and Firefox, both of which worked fine (although IE did seem to load a tad slower than usual). When people have reported similar problems in the past, it has generally turned out to be a problem at their end, e.g. connectivity problems, virus activity, etc. The only time we had any major issues was when Dan (the previous site owner) transferred the site onto a different server, but that was some time ago and things settled down again fairly quickly. That said, let me know if the problem persists for more than 48 hours and I'll have a word with the IT guys to see if they've got any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem.

Gents,

Okay, will do. I can work work around it easily enough. I am using the dreaded IE but have tried to refresh the site without luck. The off centre image problem was actually there last night but didn't think too much about it, not sure if the lack of site links was there then or not. I don't seem to have any problems elsewhere but will keep an eye out for a while and will let you know if it's still there in a day or so. Thanks for letting me know.

If you're using IE, click on the Compatibility Icon by the address bar. Think it is white in IE8 and blue in IE9. Has like an "M" in the middle of the icon.

Have been having the same problem as you, but when it's been made "compatible"all links show and it' fine.

Hi,

Many thanks for the above, it worked a treat. Never used that before and was unaware of it, also solved a couple of problems I was having with another site. Thanks again.
