Trip Reports Forum | LHR to KLAS

Hi all,

Me and my other half Alison have just booked our wedding/honeymoon in Las Vegas.

We are flying with Delta Airlines as part of KLM. Flights at moment will be:

767- LHR to Detroit Wayne county

757- Detroit to KLAS

and same on way back to LHR.

Has anyone flown with Delta in the past are they good???

I will be producing a detailed report for this trip for all who are interested. I have a 4hr wait in Detroit so I will ensure some snapping takes place.

Delta are OK, some of the 767s are showing their age now so it depends on whether you get a tarted up one or not. I have friends who have been DL loyalists for years now which says a lot, as they are casual travellers and can therefore book who they want.

If it's a new Atlantic spec 767-400 on the route they are very nice inside. Some 763s are getting a similar makeover. DL puts them on the LHR route as they have a newer Business class product so you may indeed get the 764

Mrs to be is happy and so am i, we are gonna do the flight over Grand Canyon too, so I'll keep all posted on that.

Its a photters trip almost, lol, going down to Heathrow and staying at travelodge. Get some pics then. flight, Detroit, flight KLAS.

Flight has been confirmed as a 767-400. Awesome we fly out this sunday (ash cloud permitting!!!!!!)

I will be flying over Canyon and Hoover Dam too, so i will add to my trip report.

This will be my last test till i get back so see you then.
