Photo Use Policy

The use of photos on this website is subject to the following coditions:

Personal Use (Use for no commercial / financial gain)

• Use on your own personal computer such as using it as your windows background is allowed. There is no need to request permission in this case.
• Use on a website or in another such area where it would be viewed requires permission from myself. Permission to use on a private website, viewable to everyone and where there is no financial gain from the site is usually granted under the condition that a credit is given to myself, but please ask first as I do like to know where my photos are being used.
• Printing of the photos of any kind is not allowed without my written permission. All photo prints of my photos must be ordered from the Plane Mad Photobox Gallery. If the size / gift or photo you require is not featured on the website then please contact me and I will make it available. All of the products ordered from here use the full sized version of each picture without any copyright notice in the way. The quality will be far better than trying to print something from the pictures on this site.
  This service is solely for products used for personal reasons, commercial use of the photos will incure an extra charge (see below).
• Please note that the full resolution copy of a photo on this site will never be given out for personal use as I do not see a need for such a high resolution copy if the use is personnal.

Commercial Use

• Using the photos in any commercial way, for a charge incurring website / publication or use by a company rather than individual is strictly forbidden without my written consent.
• The products from the Plane Mad Photobox Gallery are for private use only and cannot be used in a commercial way. Again please contact me so that an agreement can be reached.

The camera equipment used for the photos on this site costs a lot of money, not to mention the amount of time required to take and process them for display on the site. Please appreciate that while it is a great honour to have these photos published on other sites / publications, the idea of somebody else profitting from something that has cost myself so much in time and money is both unfair and as the copyright holder of these images illegal.

What should I do to use a photo?

If the use of photo requires permission then please contact me detailing which photo you want to use and as much detail as possible about how you want to use the photo. If it is for use on a website then please include the URL of the page it will be included on. If used in a publication the please supply the name of the publication, where in the publication the photo will be used (front page, inside, back page etc) and roughly what size the photo will be printed at.
Some photos on this site now give you the exact resolution that the picture is avialable at when viewing the larger version within the photo gallery. For all other photos please check the table below for a rough guide.

Requesting photo use
The photos on this website will have a link next to them "Request usage". This link will take you to one of two places:

• WorldAirlineImages online form - The picture will appear as a preview, please check this is the right picture. Simply fill in the form and hit "Send Request".
• Photos not featured on WorldAirlineImages will link straight to the contact me form on this website. Please fill in the photo id (found in red letters at the top of the photo information) of the picture when filling out this form.

Resolution of photos

Most of the latest photos now include the specific resolution that they are available at when viewing the larger version of the picture. The table below provides a rough guide to the maximum resolution available for other photos.
